life is full of moments.

last week the weather was beautiful.

the light was beautiful.

i grabbed a couple of my kiddos and we went to “sno shack” – we picked out eight (one for each of us . . . ) flavors we had never tried. . . flavors like poisonberry and wedding cake.  one child picked rock and roll . . . bet you can’t guess which kid that was!

we took them home to the others.

we through out a blanket.

we passed them around.  talked.  laughed a lot. dreamed.

we stared at the sky.

we tickled eachother.

we lived in the moment.

no worries.

just us.

life is full of moments.

good moments, bad moments, memorable moments, moments you wish you had never had.

there are times we want to hold on to – to remember forever.

there are times that we wish had never happened.

there are high moments – a new baby.  a graduation.  a wedding.

there are everyday moments – dishes.  laundry.  learning to ride a bike.

there are low moments – a funeral.  a job loss.  a broken friendship.

there are moments we wish we could stop and stay in forever.

~

i wanted to lay in the grass with my kids . . . in that moment – forever.

i should have grabbed my camera.

Several years ago, I had promotion – looking for seniors to “model” for me – for their senior pictures.  This is when I met the Jenne family for the first time.

Neal and Alison, twins, were my spokesmodels that year.

They were oh-so-lovely to work with!

Over the years, I have had other opportunities to work with and take pictures of their family.

I think that one of the goals – I thing that I love about my job – is the ability to really get to know people!

Everyday moments.  School.  Home.  Work.  Everyday.

High moments.  High School Graduation.  College Graduation.  New Job.

Low moments.  Long nights.  Children leaving.  Even new beginnings . . . are sometimes difficult.

I have so enjoyed being a part of some of these moments with the Jenne Family.
