This Thanksgiving, I spent the day with the computer off, and my tennis shoes on.  As many of you know, I am not most “sports-minded” or “athletic” woman you have ever met, but my husband on the other hand, has athletics running through his blood.  (I think this is why Thanksgiving is his favorite holiday.  It is a day to celebrate all of his favorite things ~ food, football, and his family.)  So, this Thanksgiving, my husband celebrated his 30th birthday, and in an effort to really love him, I put on my tennis shoes, and participated in a friendly game of football.  There’s nothing like a little friendly competition to get your blood pumping!  The longer we are married, the more I realize how completely different we are.  In fact, I think that similarities are what bring two people together, but it is the differences in one another that really challenge us to love our partner on a deeper level, and ultimately is what holds us together.   Stefan and I are no different.  Stefan inspires me to be a better person, and I hope that he would say the same about me. 

One thing that my husband is a natural at is giving.  He is a servant and a giver to the core.  This has led me to hold my very first blog contest!  Here’s how it will work.  Originally, I wanted to post all my favorite portraits from 2009, but when the list started getting above 50, I thought – SIMPLIFY!  So, now, I have posted a small selection of my favorites, for YOU to choose YOUR favorite!  The WINNER of the competition will receive a free 11×14 gallery wrap canvas of THEIR favorite photo from their session!  YEAH!
