hard to believe . . .

as many of you know we just had a baby.  well not “just” – she is almost eight weeks old now. 

my mother begs me everyday to introduce you to her more formally, that is, with pictures.

maybe tomorrow . . .

today, though, i would like to introduce you to another sweet baby – Piper.

oh, is she ever beautiful!

i had the great honor of also taking some maternity pictures of Piper’s mama – just to remember the miracle . . .

i look at her, look at her mother . . . . i look at my sweet Sarah, and think how amazing it is –

sometimes we forget

sometimes its just so hard to believe

so hard to believe that these beautiful, crying, smiling, yawning, cooing babies were once a part of us
