beginning of a good friendship . . .

almost two years ago, i made a friend

she is a woman who gets super excited about most anything – she seems to be happy all the time, up for any kind of adventure, and is someone whom sincerely cares about you

in the beginning, she was a bride – planning a wedding on OUR anniversary – a wedding that would have the same colors that i chose when i was a bride

in the beginning, wendi was just a bride . . . but she became my friend.

Well, I recently got a call from another woman – looking for a photographer to do some engagment pictures for her.  She told me that Wendi told her she should call.  (I love friends like that!)

Brittany was just a bride looking for a photographer, but she – like Wendi – has already become a friend.  When I first met her, instantly I knew I like her!  She was full of smiles and, like Wendi, super excited about life!  Boe, on the other hand, was a man of little words, and I was a little nervous about how I was going to “reach” him.  You see, she was all dolled up for her photo session, and he was in a white T-shirt, and you could tell that SHE had made him get his hair cut!  He didn’t look too enthused.

We drove to the river, I bent down to change some settings on my camera, and as I looked up – THIS is what I saw:

 . . . they were posed and ready for their first shot!  From that moment on, I knew that Boe was going to be my friend, too.

We had an absolute fabulous time!
