Okay, if you must know, in almost every instance, when I am done photographing a subject, I rush home and download all of the images. I must say, there are times wehn I am not able to look at them immediately, but for the most part, I am like a child in a candy store searching for the most perfect piece of candy! As I said in my last post, these past weeks have been filled with so many great photography opportunities, and there are so many incredible moments documented, that I have had trouble knowing quite where to begin.
Yesterday, I spent the afternoon finishing up some senior pictures for a young girl whom started her pictures last summer. She really wanted to have several different looks, and after I spent time with her, I began to understand why. If you were to ask me what season best described me, I would not hesitate in saying, “SUMMER!” There is no other season in me.
It was not the case with this senior.
This girl had a great smile, very easy going, lots of fun to be with, and adventurous ~ all words that I would use to describe a “summer girl!” The more I got to know her, though, I could see her serious nature, her soft voice, and her calm eyes ~ all words that I would use to describe the winter season. I am so glad that we took the time to take pictures in both seasons. I think it really reflects . . . her! “H”, thank you so much for braving the cold. I so enjoyed meeting your family, and I hope you enjoy this little “preview” of our time together!
